How Coaching Works

I believe that the most productive coaching sessions are those that challenge you to be innovative. Instead of simply following a series of pre-defined steps, I engage you in the growth process. Here's what you can expect:

Setting Goals
  • Your first consultation is a free, 30-minute discussion to become acquainted with each other - by phone or in person.
  • We'll talk about your immediate and long-term goals, narrowing down to two or three of the most critical to achieving top performance.
  • Then, we'll set up our Coaching Agreement, which defines the duration and timing of sessions.
The Coaching Process
  • Typically, the complete coaching process includes ten sessions. Each session is a one-hour unit of time, and the process ends at the conclusion of the tenth unit.
  • Sessions can be in person or on the phone, and we'll create a schedule that's mutually convenient.
  • My approach is focused on your individual traits, not simply your professional persona, and we use these inherent qualities to break down performance barriers.
  • Coaching "in the moment" can be most effective because you're compelled to deal with real issues in real time.
  • As you reflect on your behaviors and practice new ones between sessions, you'll start to see positive results.
